EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT TAX CREDIT (EITC) PROGRAM

 

Dates & Deadlines

 

• May 16 – June 30 – Business applicants who have fulfilled their 2-year    commitment and wish to reapply in FY 15/16 to renew their 2-year commitment. AND Businesses who are in the middle of their 2-year commitment.
• July 1 – All other businesses can submit applications
• As always, state funds are limited and applications are reviewed on a random basis until funds are exhausted (which could be on July 1st), Don’t delay!
• Also keep in mind that Applications can be created and SAVED in advance and then submitted on the applicable date(s).
• Do Not Submit you application BEFORE the deadline or your application will be null and void.

 

Special Notes

 

• On the application under the ‘Addenda’ Tab is where you will commit to a EIO 1 or 2 year program and enter the donation amount.
• In most cases, you are no longer required to mail in the signed signature page to DCED simply check the signature agreement on the ‘Certification’ Tab
• Note: There are three types of qualifying organizations. We have provided information relating to AEIO and You as an “Educational Improvement Organization” (EIO) only. Other programs may vary.
