THE GATHERING

The Gathering is a theme-based four day literature conference held on the campus of Keystone College, LaPlume, Pennsylvania. This annual forum provides a transformative learning experience that engages participants from diverse backgrounds to celebrate literature, explore their creative impulses, embrace individual expression, and discover their capabilities. The conference is interactive and it promotes engagement between the participants and the presenters. The literature arts coordinator of the Abington Heights School District has sent five select high school students to The Gathering for each of the past several years.  The theme for the 2016 conference is, ” Innovation: Radical Dreams for the Real World,” which will explore innovations into new art forms, technology, and business ventures.
